Our Kalamazoo Ave. Kottages are located in the heart of the Historic Stuart Neighborhood, only a half mile from the Downtown District. This 4 unit property is home to 4 of Kara's Kottages; Acorn, Redwood, Sassafras and Butternut (opening next spring :).
The Space
This small, but sweet kottage is nestled in a canopy of mature trees and offers lovely views of neighboring, historic homes. This adorable space includes a cozy living room with a sectional sofa along with a tv and a dining table. Also included is a well-stocked kitchen, 1 small, but well-stocked bathroom with a tile shower, and a decadent bedroom with 1 queen bed. A roll-out twin bed is available for set up in the living room if needed.
Stairs ~ Once inside the unit, there are stairs leading up.

1-2 pets | $20/night/pet Short stay guests intending to bring pets need to initiate a payment immediately after booking. This is done through the airbnb platform. Extended stay guests need to call for pet accommodations and/or arrangements prior to booking. Coffee, tea, coffee creamer, and sweeteners provided along with oatmeal packets, tea kettle, coffee maker, and French press. A 2 night minimum stay applies to reservations that include a Friday or Saturday. Exceptions are absolutely considered. If a one-night stay is granted, there will be a $40 fee applied to the reservation. Please call for assistance.

This lovely Kottage offers a modern and spacious eat-in kitchen and an equally spacious living room. Comfortable furnishings include a sectional sofa, electric fireplace console, 42" television, and many more comforts. This space offers 1 bedroom that includes a luscious queen bed along with an XL twin daybed, great for lounging or for additional sleeping. A queen airbed is available in the unit.
Also included in this Kottage is a charming bathroom with an original and newly restored claw foot bathtub & shower combo and stocked with many toiletries for guest comfort.
Unique to this location is a private, attached covered porch. This Kottage has its own private outdoor space right outside of its own dedicated entrance, which includes comfy furnishings, warm lighting, and a ceiling fan.
